Four years.
As of today, that is how long this blog has been running. Looking back, I can say that starting this site was one of the best choices I ever made as it has opened so many doors for me and allowed me to meet a huge number of wonderful people. It has been very rewarding to see the numbers grow as more and more people visit, and hear great feedback from so many regarding what gets posted. Frankly, even if no one read it it’d still be worth running as it allows me to look back on so many great memories from these last few years and it offers me reminders of what my friends and I have experienced and accomplished.
Over these last few years not only have I received a lot of great feedback however, but I have also received a lot of questions – specifically, about parts for the Mk3 Focus and Mk7 Fiesta platforms, from fellow Canadians. It was natural, as given that not only my own project but many friends’ have been documented on the site, fellow owners of these cars were directed to officialTHREETWENTY and would get in touch asking where and how they could get similar pieces for their own vehicles. I would of course help by directing them to websites or recommending brands to look into, but that was about as much as I could do to assist; until now that is.
Recently I have been working behind the scenes to be able to offer more direct assistance in finding and providing parts for fellow enthusiasts, and today’s post is the announcement that I am now able to do just that.
Alongside officialTHREETWENTY, MacKenCo Design operates as a vinyl graphic design and production company, and now MacKenCo Automotive exists to help Canadian owners acquire pieces for their Focus and Fiesta projects.
This is something that had been in the back of my mind for a while, and it was kickstarted when SS Tuning approached me with an offer. As you may be aware, at the end of 2016 I won a shift knob of theirs in a contest. Following that we were in touch and got to talking back and forth, which is when they extended to me the opportunity to become their Canadian representative. After figuring out some details and discussing with a couple of other companies that I work closely with (hint) I happily agreed and knew that it was time to finally make MacKenCo Automotive a reality!
Below I have included a link to the dedicated website for MacKenCo Automotive, and ask that if you’re interested, to please venture over and check it out! At this time you will note that SS Tuning is listed as I am in the position to accept inquries and requests for their products, but work continues behind the scenes so that MacKenCo Automotive may be able to work with more brands and offer a greater variety of products for Canadian enthusiasts.
In closing, I wish to say a big thank you to everyone that visits officialTHREETWENTY – whether this is the first post you’ve ever read on the site, or you’ve been here since day one, thank you. As we move ahead into what will be the fifth season of this blog I am very excited to not only be able to share another year of shows, projects, and other happenings from our community, but also to be able to more directly assist fellow Focus and Fiesta owners and enthusiasts through MacKenCo Automotive.

Thank you, everyone.
