As I type this we are getting very near the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014. I wanted to get one last post up before midnight just to finish off the year, and to say thanks.
When I started the blog up this year I merely pictured having my own personal site to share some experiences and photography, from my point of view. Looking back, I’m glad I was able to attend so many events and have the busy year I did because it allowed me to have a lot of stuff to write about, which I hope was interesting to follow along with. I saw the site’s traffic pick up and more and more people talk to me about it and how they enjoyed it.
To build on this I have been planning for 2014 with regards of how to continue the blog and keep improving it. I want it to have some value within the Calgary community as well as the Mk3 Focus world (since these are the two fundamental components of my content) and I want to keep a certain standard and regularity of updates. It is almost entirely run by myself but I have had the help of a few others in times when I could not handle everything (such as the occasional photography provided by Kyle – thank you!). I hope that our small team can build on this first year and make 2014 even better.
Thank you for reading, thank you for your feedback, thank you for your support, and thank you for a very memorable year. Here’s wishing you all the best for 2014.
