Thoughts on Sunday School 2014

The big day has come and gone – Sunday School 2014 took place on Sunday and it was fantastic! Before we get into coverage of the show, I wanted to take the time to say thanks to those who helped make it happen and everyone who participated.

First up, thanks to ill.motion for once again putting this show on and helping the Calgary car community by providing such a highly anticipated event each year. It is certainly one of the highlights on my summer calendar and I’m sure it is for many others as well. The show filled up incredibly fast this year and the variety and quality of cars on display was amazing.

Next, thanks to everyone who joined us (ThreeTwenty/MacKenCo) and displayed their cars with us. We had 16 vehicles in total, which is double what we brought last year when we attended under the UCCarClub name. Beyond bringing cars though, we had help with setting up the tent, ensuring we had food and drinks to keep us going, and I even had help making sure my cars were clean while I was running around ensuring everything was ready to go. Thank you all!

Additionally, thanks to every other person involved who helped out in one way or another – a show like this takes a lot of work to pull off and that can’t be done without a lot of individuals giving up their time to make sure nothing is overlooked. We had a great day and as a bonus this was also the first year that I didn’t walk away with an extreme sunburn. Success!

Sunday School 2014 Awards

We were proud to be able to help out by sponsoring the trophies and they went to some fantastic vehicles. Congratulations to all of the winners!

Coverage from Sunday is already starting to appear online and we will have some photos coming soon, starting off with highlighting those who attended with us. Also, as promised in the last post the store is now live again with a few new items – and more are coming! Thank you everyone for your support and for following along with us. The new goodies can be seen at officialthreetwenty.bigcartel.com!

Along with Sunday School coverage we also have a new A Look At post coming soon, and there are details to be shared on some of the work done to the cars leading up to the show.
