With the Spring Thaw on the agenda, the Focus’ stock wheels had to come off. It was finally time to dust off the summer shoes and put them back on.

For those that haven’t seen them before, they’re 17″ Volvo Pegasus wheels, from a V70R wagon (also found on S60Rs). I was concerned that they’d look smaller now that the side skirts and rear valance are painted (the stock wheels seemed to) but they still look great, in my opinion.

I always find the reactions to fitting the Volvo wheels entertaining. Generally people either cannot figure out why it has Volvo wheels, or think it’s a great idea because they too like the look. Obviously, I like ’em.
